Full Circle

By: The Poetic One

Lofty dreams I have since young,

Seemed to have swept me off the ground.

Head swelling as thoughts run wild,

Envisioning my future all this while.

Thought I owned the right to succeed,

Only to find a path laden with obstacles as I proceed.

Though success was always near,

Paradoxically there was never a cheer.

Albeit conceding the race was an option,

The constant struggles have certainly not dampened my aspiration.

Prohibiting capitulation into complacency,

All for the goal of attaining supremacy.

As the ink on the letter dries,

It signifies the attainment of the ultimate prize.

Throughout my existence seeking the realization of a miracle,

Life for me has certainly come full circle.
